Baby Shortcake!

My sister Deneille finally had her baby. I am so excited. I get to go home tomorrow and meet her. My dad sent me some pictures today so I thought I would share. She doesn't have a name yet so I just call her baby shortcake.

MOCKINGJAY

So yesterday was my 21st birthday but it was also the day the book Mockingjay came out. Such an AMAZING book. My sister and I went at midnight to get it and she bought it for me for my birthday. I finished it today and it was just amazing. haha. Best birthday present ever. My parents also got me a GPS. They know me well, I get lost way too easily. I am so happy to have it before I move to a new town. I move Friday to Provo. So exciting.

Change

So I am in my last week at USU. I will be moving home for the summer in a few days. It seems so strange. I don't feel like I am old enough to be almost done with college. Next semester I will be doing my student teaching in the Alpine School District and then I will be graduating. I am rather excited but very nervous to be done with school... then it's time for the real world. :)

But I am very excited to move to Provo and student teach, I am super nervous but I think it is going to be a grand adventure. I will be living in BYU-Approved with my good friend Chelsea and I am super excited. She is great! I think it is time for there to be change in my life. I am a little nervous for BYU housing because I never could picture myself living at BYU. Not that BYU is a bad school I just never pictured it for me. I guess I will have to wait and see what adventure it brings. :)

the zoo!!

I went to the zoo yesterday and it was so much fun! I got to see the baby elephant. When we first got there it wasn't out so I was worried that I wouldn't get to see it but when we went back the second time we got to see it. It made me happy. Here are just a few pictures from my adventures...

Tomorrow I will be going here...



I am so excited. A lot of my friends are going on fun vacations for Spring Break but I am really just excited to go home. It will be fun to soak in the St. George sun and just relax and be with my family. I am excited to go help in my sisters class, visit my grandparents, spend time with my mom and dad, and hang out with some of my friends. It is going to be great!

On Monday I will be headed up to Brigham City for a quick trip to go to my great Aunt Beth's funeral. She was a great lady and I am sad that she passed away but it was her time. I am just glad that I knew her. She is the only person that I really knew from my Grandma DeLone's family. She was my grandmas older sister. I never had the chance to know my grandma so I am really glad I knew my Aunt Beth. I remember when I was growing up, she would come down to St. George and she would tell me stories about my grandma. I am glad I had the chance to know her!

Yay it's almost Spring! I can't believe it is March! March means only two more months until I am done in Logan and only having Student Teaching left. I turn in my student teaching application today. I am not sure if I am ready to graduate but it will all work out. In March I will get to hang out with 1st graders over my Spring Break and then after Spring Break I start practicum in a 2nd Grade Class. I am excited!

So today I attempted to ride a Unicycle (picture to come). It was so much fun. My friend Sara rented it from Aggie Blue Bikes. We are going to ride it again tomorrow. I am excited!

Also, I have been really enjoying watching the Winter Olympics! So great! I am kind of in love with Evan Lysacek. I am so happy he won gold! He was amazing! Olympics are neat!

My new hair

So I decided I needed a haircut because it was getting kind of straggly. I had no idea how I wanted to cut it but knew it was time. Here's the finished product... What do you think?
